DiMA Statement on Passing of Apple's Steve Jobs

(Washington, DC -- October 6, 2011) – DiMA’s interim executive director Lee Knife issued the following statement on the passing of Apple founder, Steve Jobs:

“Steve Jobs was a visionary whose innovative spirit inspired a digital entertainment industry that is enabling fans to enjoy music and movies in more creative ways every day.  His contribution to consumers and to industry innovation will live on well past his too-short life. We are deeply saddened by his passing, and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.”
