“The FCC took an important first step today in unleashing new innovation, choice and competition in the delivery of video programming to consumers. By updating its existing set of CableCARD rules, the FCC promises to provide consumers with access to new programming options that go far beyond the typical tv/cable broadcaster offerings to include access to legitimate content offered by online music and video services providers.
